Well, it's 2022 and COVID-19 is "sort of" a thing of the past... Or at least we hope it is. The past number of years are almost a blur and I am sure just like myself, you want to forget a lot of it.
At the beginning of COVID-19 there was a LOT of uncertainty of what exactly was happening and what was or wasn't allowed in the retail scene. One day we were allowed to be open and the next we were being forced to close our doors to the public. Our own internal policies surrounding what was allowed and what wasn't allowed changed on the daily and continued to evolve.
In March of 2020, when the Pandemic first hit, we went from a business where 85% of our business was generated from foot traffic walking through our front door and migrated to 80% of our business being generated through our website! These numbers have been flip flopping month to month as society tries to decide what is proper but I think we are finally getting to the point where we are finding a "social normality" once again.
Going into the Christmas rush of 2022 we have no idea what to expect but we are hopeful for a great season and we look forward to seeing our regulars coming out to say hi once again!
In anticipation of a great season, we have regrown our inventory back over the million dollar mark and also expanded our offerings to include even more Dungeon and Dragons, Pokemon Trading Cards, Magic the Gathering, Paints, Dice, Posters and more! We are always looking at new products lines to bring in more customers so if you ever have any ideas of what you would like to see us have in store, let us know!
