Power Up Gaming is a Canadian video game store built by gamers, collectors, and people who genuinely love this stuff. Since 2012, we have been helping customers find games, systems, accessories, collectibles, tabletop items, and the weird little treasures that make collecting fun.
We sell online through PowerUpGaming.ca and in person from our retail store in Barrie, Ontario. Our goal is simple: make it easier to shop for games with confidence.
Our Story
Power Up Gaming started as a brick-and-mortar video game store and grew into a Canadian online destination for retro and modern gaming.
Built from a love of games
Power Up Gaming was started by Kevin Wells in 2012 with a simple idea: create a store where gamers, collectors, families, and curious new players could find great games and get honest help.
Over the years, the store has grown, moved into a larger space, expanded online, and built a warehouse-backed inventory full of used games, systems, accessories, collectibles, tabletop products, and repair-related items.
We are still very much a real store with real people behind it. That matters to us.
